London will soon have 1.4 terabits of download and upload Internet speeds

Yes, apperently in the UK's BT and AL ISP's tested a hack they did with a small network. They were able to push broadband's limitations on speed and go to at least 1.4 terabits of data transmitted in the network. So, they said in the years to come consumers in the UK will soon be able to upgrade to fast speeds without the expensive costs to upgrading to a fiber optic system. This allows smaller ISP's to now offer higher speeds without needing to build a fiber optic network.


It's good news for the UK. However, in the U.S don't see this anytime soon. There's rumors that Japan will adopt those methods.
